2006 Mercedes Benz SL Class

Perhaps no Mercedes-Benz model has a prouder history than the SL. The German automaker’s sports car launched in the mid-1950s in the form of the now-historic and highly-collectable 300SL, which was available as a two-door roadster or the famous hardtop with Gullwing doors. Mercedes launched the new and fifth generation of its venerable two-seater in 2003. Rather than making customers decide between coupe or roadster (convertible), all SLs now come with a retractable hardtop, so the SL can be two cars in one: top up for cold weather; top down for enjoying the sunshine. The model lineup includes the SL500, SL600, SL55 AMG, and SL65 AMG.
